Sono Luminus

The LAPQ is thrilled to announce a new partnership with classical recording label Sono Luminus. Later this month the LAPQ will record their debut album, featuring the music of Joseph Pereira, Eric Guinvian, Jeffrey Holmes and Sean Heim at Skywalker Sound in Marin, California.

Founded in 1995 by Sandy Lerner and Len Bosack (founders of Cisco Systems), Sono Luminus credits their expertise in digital signal processing, computational mathematics and physics with elevating their ability to capture true performance fidelity in classical music recordings. In recent years they have received the 2007 Award of Excellence in High Resolution Audio from the Audio Engineering Society, nominations in both the 50th and 51st
GRAMMY® Awards, and most recently won Best Engineered Classical Album at the 53rd GRAMMY® awards (2011). Sono Luminus is distributed internationally by Naxos to over 60 countries.
